Appearance:
Schuldig stands at five foot nine, and possesses an athletic build. He has orange hair that falls past his shoulders. The first thing that you will notice about Schuldig is that he almost always has grin or a smirk plastered on his face. He is most often seen wearing a bandana with a pair of sunglasses perched on top his head. Schuldig favors shirts and tailored jacket, wearing them most of the time except during rare occasions.

Personality:
A splash of unpredictability and dash of mischief topped with a sprinkle of sarcasm makes up the basis of Schuldig’s personality. He manipulates his victims like a puppeteer manipulates puppets whispering his sweet lies, pulling you deeper and deeper into his web until you could not differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. There is nothing he likes better than to get into your head, digging deep into your mind and playing mind games. He especially takes a great pleasure is controlling and destroying his victim’s mind.

A rather vengeful person, Schuldig is not a person to cross. Rest assured that your life would be miserable if you do. He also has no morals or scruples whatsoever and he would do anything to accomplish Schwarz and his goals. This lack of morality may stem from his training in Rosenkreuz. Schuldig shows no remorse, empathy, or guilt over killing people in their way, seemingly pointing to the fact that he may suffer from psychopathy. After all, he has to deal with everybody’s worst and vilest thoughts, it would not be surprising that after all those years that Schuldig would be corrupted by those tainted thoughts. He never shows any signs that he is crazy, nor insane. He follows orders given to him by Brad readily enough, but he may stray, going off to play his own little games at times.

It is not known whether Schuldig is his real name, or whether it was a name he gave himself. He is the only member of Schwarz without a surname, so it could be surmised that either he gave it to himself or someone else gave it to him. But in German, Schuldig means ‘to be guilty, or be guilty of, or blame yourself for something.’

Abilities/Weaponry:
1) Telepathy - Schuldig’s main power enables him to communicate and acquire information with other people through thoughts. This ability allows Schuldig access to other people’s thoughts, past experiences, knowledge and emotions. With some effort, he may even manipulate the thoughts and memories of another. If he wishes it, he could even erase everything, tuning his victims into living dolls, but it would depend on how ‘strong’ his targets’ minds are. His power also enables him to use a form of ki-blast, basically using his telepathy to stun his enemies. He hardly ever uses it as it drains him after each use.

2) Physical - Schuldig moves with inhuman speed and could land on the ground after jumping off a four, five story building with no injuries at all. It is not known whether it is his physical ability, or just simply a mind trick that he uses on his enemies. He knows how to handle firearms as well as some martial arts from his training in Rosenkreuz. It makes for a lethal combination paired with his telepathic abilities..

Weaknesses:
While Telepathy is a useful power to have, it also has its own setbacks. Because of it, Schuldig could not stand being in a large crowd for an extended amount of time. There is always the danger of other people’s thoughts overwhelming his own – if he is not careful, he could ‘lose’ himself in the sea of thoughts. He sometimes has the problem of differentiating which thoughts are his, and which thoughts belong to others.

History:
Most of Schuldig’s past remains shrouded in mystery, not much is known about it except that he was discovered at a tender age by another psychic who picked him up from the streets and took him back to Rosenkreuz to be evaluated. There, Schuldig’s abilities were gauged and he was accepted into the school with open arms.

The reason that Este has survived so long was because of their invisibility; only a select few know that such an organization still exists. Este is first established during the WWII under Hitler’s regime. They survived the fall of Hitler and his army by sheer resourcefulness, moving out of sight and controlling the world’s leaders from the shadows through careful placements of their psychics. As long as the leaders follow Este’s will, they are left alive. Those deemed uncontrollable are disposed and replaced by someone more tractable. With this goal in mind that they built Rosenkreuz - a school where Este trained their potential agents with supernatural abilities, with the intention of using the psychics they have recruited and trained to subvert the world leaders.

It was at Rosenkreuz that Schuldig learned how to control and manipulate his telepathic abilities under the watchful guidance of the school. There, he met Brad Crawford and they formed a team – Schwarz. Brad Crawford recruited Farfarello into Schwarz not too long after and the team of three was sent to Japan. There, they found and recruited the fourth member, Nagi Naoe – a powerful telekinetic. They did not stay in Japan for long as orders were given for them to head to Italy, where they were supposedly ‘cleansing’ the place of supernatural beings.
